1993 Seems a long time ago! I Installed my First Drainage System In Norman. My Name Is Blane Callen.
Guess What! That French Drain Still Works.
I have amassed a huge amount of experience during that time. Lots of ” Water Under The Bridge,” as it were. SORRY FOR THE PUN!
In 1992 I Was a Manager at Circuit City in OKC. My wife had a bad car wreck on I 35 and we lost our daughter Allyson. My wife understandably was in a bad place and needed my support. I needed to be able to set my own schedule as to when I worked. Starting my own business was the only answer.
I started Putting Little signs on the side of the road in Norman advertising French Drain Installation. They were made out green Poster Board and Black Magic Marker. ( Your average garage sale sign)
Life was difficult and jobs were few. But I learned from each job.
Now 30 years has gone by. I have run from 1 to 6 Installation crews depending on the year and demand. This year we will have Installed or Repaired over 4000 Drainage Systems total in the pas 30 Years.
I put a list together of the different towns in Oklahoma that we had provided service.

Several Other Drainage Companies Have Started Up From My Previous Employees Going Out on Their Own. AVO Drainage and Blue Collar Drains both do good work. The Others not so much.
In 30 Years I Have Learned:
Details Matter Such as ” Setting Water Flow” or using a Trench Liner
Plumbers and Landscapers Don’t know Much About Installing a Good French Drain System or Surface Drain System.
Over 30% of the work I do has been fixing their mistakes.
